CPI-Snow Manjushree school

The Snow Manjushree school founded by a Buddhist monk  Lama Dhundup (Sonam Gyaltsen Ghale) has more than one hundred underprivileged and marginalized students coming from remote Manang, Mustang and a few other districts of Nepal. CPI has supported the school with 15 laptop computers, 5 desktop computers, a heavy duty printer/scanner for the lab use, a 65 inch TV set for students to attend online classes and a router for internet connection. This lab set up will help the students with continuing their online education. It will enhance their computing know-how and skills and also help them with digital literacy, independent research and with group/project works. It is also a testing ground to gauge the impact of technology on the students. The school has prepared two rooms for the computer lab with carpeting and furnishing. The students themselves painted and decorated the lab rooms. The students have painted the rules for smooth operation of the lab and have also made a class routine for the equitable access of the students of all age groups to the computer lab.
